New Seasonal Beers!

Fresh Hop Rye - A fruity, flavorful beer only available in September and October, when Northwest Hop growers are harvesting their little aromatic gems. Ours is made from Nugget hops - one of the higher alpha acid hops available - and 75% rye malt. This stuff is goooooood, so get it while it lasts!

Yeti Blackberry Wheat - Our Whitewater Wheat (our American Hefeweizen) base, with added hops and a mixture of blackberries and raspberries. The result is a delightfully mild berry beer that is as refreshing as it is seasonal - again, this beer is only made during early fall, and never lasts very long!

Joe Beaver Road Show
The guys from KEJO radio will be broadcasting from our pub on Friday from 12-2 pm. They will be giving away a pair of tickets to the OSU-WSU football game and two 18-hole rounds of golf
at Mallard Creek. We’ll also be giving away lots of ‘Pooia gear like T-Shirts, glassware, and gift certificates. Enjoy the best burgers and beer in the mid-valley and catch up on Beaver sports!

2nd Annual “Wet Your Whistle in the Watershed” Benefit for the Calapooia/South Santiam Watershed Council
Calapooia Brewing Co. is teaming up with the Calapooia Watershed and South Santiam Watershed Councils to help raise funds and awareness for these two groups that do so much to protect and enhance the rivers that make life in the Willamette Valley so idyllic!

The fun begins at 6:00 and includes music by John Bliss and the XTet, a silent auction, raffles, river trivia and more. There is a $5 donation at the door, and many opportunities to support the watershed councils while quaffing the best beer in the Valley and winning great prizes like T-Shirts, ‘Pooia Pints and Growlers, and native plants provided by the Councils. All funds raised from the donations go straight to the Councils for their educational programs.

The best part…. the more y’all eat and drink, the more money Calapooia Brewing Co. will donate from our own pockets!

Saturday, September 27th & Sunday September 28th - Varied locales

Let’s see, Calapooia is either paticipating or sponsoring the following activities on this weekend:

• Septembeerfest - Saturday at the Benton County Fairgrounds
• Willamette Open 10 - Saturday and Sunday at Willamette, Timber-Linn, and Adair Disc Golf Parks. Awards ceremony to be held at the ‘Pooia Sunday evening. The event is full, but you can sign up for the alternates list in case people don’t show up or back out. This is one of the biggest disc golf tournaments in the nation!
• Northwest Brewcup Friday, Saturday and Sunday - Fort George Brewery, Astoria Or.
• Lebanon Boys & Girls Club Event, Saturday night at the ‘Pooia

So as you can see, we’ve been busy little beavers. Come see us and support a favorite event or charity.
