Last Halloween at The ‘Pooia
Posted by Paul
Hello and happy November fellow followers of fabulous fermentables. The end of October was a time of high emotion around the ‘Pooia. Our esteemed brewer Colin Steeves had his last day on the 29th, which just so happened to be the day Albany legend and friend of many, Billy Lanham played his last performance at the ‘Pooia. There were many tears and many beers.

Billy(on left)hugs drummer Chris White. Mike Jones and Brian Yorgey were there to round out the swan song of The School of Cool.
Halloween came to us shrouded in misty, low clouds with the nearly full moon peeking in intermittently. Inside the pub, all the stars were out!
