Greetings, Doomsayers and Hope-mongers alike. The end of 2012 is nigh and there’s not a damn thing anyone can do about it, so strap yourselves in, grab a pint and enjoy the ride! Here’s what fun things we have for you this weekend…

On Thursday, the first Thursday of every month, is RUSTY HINGES. RH is Chris Highfield on 5-string banjo and vocals and Bryan Guerena on everything else. It’s down home, cabin-in-the-woods folk the way folks did it a hundred years plus years ago. Music starts at 7:30. Free.

On Friday, step forward in time with THE VAN MEYERS’ experimental jazz. Doug Meyers, guitar, Kevin Van Walk, percussion, and Trevor Pelletier, stand-up bass, take you on an extemporaneous musical journey. It’s meat for the mind. The trip begins at 8pm. Free.

Saturday, come on back for some really well done pop/folk with Peter Rodocker and THE DRUTHERS, of Portland. Here’s a taste…

Showtime is 8pm. And it is free!

There’s so much more great stuff this month. And mark your calendars for The Winter Solstice, December 21st. We’ve got something special in store…

Cheers!
