On Wednesday the 27th, come celebrate summer with an evening in Corvallis for Knights Baseball. Plan to leave work early and join us at our brewpub in Albany at 3PM where we’ll be doing $1 ballpark hotdogs, special prices on beer, and then we leave for the game. We have a chartered bus that will take us from the brewpub to the game and then back again. The bus leaves the brewpub at 5:30pm promptly. Once on board we’ll have refreshing beverages to enjoy before arriving at the ballpark.
Tickets are only $10 each and includes a ticket to the game. In addition we ask that everyone going represent and wear your Calapooia Brewing gear to the game! There are only 50 tickets so act quickly to reserve your spot.
Please note that once at the game, all regular pricing applies.
Here are pictures from last year’s trip to see the Knights. As you can see, it’s not to be missed!
Keep an eye out for our “Calapooia Brewing K Board” Strikeout Board. If there are 9 strikeouts in the game, everyone in attendance at the park gets special coupons for use at our brewpub. Go Knights!
We enjoyed another great year of hosting the Albany Crab Feed. Check out the images I got that afternoon, and if you have some to add, please email me at webmaster@calapooiabrewing.com

All I can say is Calapooia Brewing loves coming to Suds in Corvallis! You were wonderful hosts once again and treated us like rock stars! We were packed the entire time and really enjoyed kicking of the school year with all of you!
Here are some pictures of the fun:

Last week Calapooia Brewing had the pleasure of presenting the game for the Corvallis Knights baseball team. It was a total blast as you can tell from the images below. I’ll let the pictures do the talking:
Coach Hawk from LBCC came out to support his players, Liam Baron and Trevor Smith, who play with the Knights in the off season.
'Pooia bus riders getting pumped for the game!

A beautiful night as the sun goes down in Corvallis at the tied-up Knights game.
We’d like to thank the Corvallis Knights for having us out to the park last Tuesday and a big shout out to all our friends from the brewery who came out to cheer on the team!
I decided to experiment a bit without flash on the camera considering it was movie night and all. A flash is sure to make distract patrons from the movie I figured! Results are a bit mixed, but I’ll do better next time.
Many thanks to Cloud 9 for hosting us for movie night! As you can see in the pictures, it’s a beautiful spot and their menu is fantastic. Looking forward to the next movie night for sure!
And we don’t know who these folks are, but they appear to be mimicking the movie by downing some Calapooia Pilsner by the pitcher:
We had a great time with the Oregon Heart of the Valley Homebrewer’s for their the 27th annual competition again this year. The turnout was very impressive and our atrium was full of brewer’s and their families. Congratulations to Thomas Anderson, Best of Show winner with his “Wee Nessy” Strong Scotch Ale! Check out all the results of the OHF Homebrew Competition Results.
Special shout out to Josh Gum, personal friend of yours truly, who placed 3rd in Specialty Beer with his unique Black IPA called “I Love This Black IPA!”
Give a shout out to your friends and their finish below in the comments!

Contact us if you have an event you’d like to have at Calapooia Brewing.
Nick Hawley did an amazing job organizing this year’s ‘Get On The Road For The Trail’ bike ride from Corvallis to Albany. Over 150 riders made the trip, with their final destination at our brewery and pub. Here are a couple of pictures and you can see more pictures and video on the Albany Corvallis Bike Path web site.
Thanks to everyone who attended to raise awareness for this great cause, and cheers to Nick for continuing to be an advocate for green solutions!

I confess: I’ve taken more shots this month than I’ve had time to update the site! But before much more time passes I wanted to share pictures I’ve taken for Calapooia Brewing in the past couple of weeks.
Mark took me on a tour of the brewery highlighting the newly installed brew equipment. As you can tell, he’s passionate about his craft!
Here’s the new rig that will be able to transport more precious ‘Pooya nectar to your local watering hole
And here’s a couple quick pics from the Oregon Garden Brewfest last weekend
First picture is of Mark, Paul, and I. Next picture is a friend of ours, Alicia, who wanted to be pouring for us but pulled the Roots assignment instead. And finally that wonderful sausage!
