All I can say is Calapooia Brewing loves coming to Suds in Corvallis! You were wonderful hosts once again and treated us like rock stars! We were packed the entire time and really enjoyed kicking of the school year with all of you!

Yesterday afternoon was a perfect day for the races with temperatures in the mid-70’s and light winds in Downtown Albany. We had a great time hosting the beer garden and watching the talented and very fast racers right behind our taps. Here are some decent pictures that came out from my camera. Come join us this Friday and Saturday at Portland’s Spring Beer & Wine Fest, celebrating it’s 15th year! We’ll be pouring our Chili Beer and rIPArian IPA.

Friday & Saturday from 12:00 noon till 11:00pm
Oregon Convention CenterWhile you’re sipping on fine craft beer, wine, spirits and cocktails, do a little shopping! Our arts and craft vendors and exhibitors offer unique treasures and interesting items. Or chill out in the attached heated outdoor smoker’s tent, a comfortable lounge area offering additional beer selections and a cigar vendor purveying fine tobacco items. And don’t forget: Admission is free the first two hours each day.
If you’re a fan of our brews and have been waiting to get Calapooia Brewing beers in Portland, we have some good news on the way. We are currently expanding out brewery and will have a wider reach soon! Look for an upcoming blog post with details of the expansion and early photos of the new equipment. In the meantime, check out where our beers are already being poured in the Portland area!

Calapooia Brewing Hosts Annual Crab Fest Next Weekend

Once again, Calapooia Brewing is hosting the 10th annual John Harris Greater Albany Rotary Club Crab Fest Dinner on Saturday, January 31st from 3 to 8 p.m.
Here’s an excerpt from the Democrat Herald about the event:
There will be crab, chicken, salad, bread, dessert and beverages. The Albany German Band, The London Flush and The Bush Pilots will provide music.
Tickets are $30. Proceeds will go to local and international service projects such as painting the Fish of Albany guest house, student recognition awards and the Rotary Youth Exchange Project.
Tickets are available at Calapooia Brewing Co., KGAL/KSHO in Lebanon and Wyatts Eatery and Brewhouse, 211 First Ave. N.W., in Albany.
